Wow!! What a miserable day of walking! I won't go into too much detail because I am tired and going to bed...but it was hot and long. For some reason we figured because it was "only" 25.5km it would be an easy day. So we slept in and didn't leave until like 9:30. Yea...I couldn't figure out how to get out of town so I ended up walking with little French Canadian Simon. So we walked nice and slow to Fromista (6km) and he went to the pharmacy and everyone else was there. So Annie caught up and we decided to have a break next to the church! That lasted ages (think I wrote a post this AM about it but it seems like days ago). Then we walked together...bad idea. There was so much bitching and whining it was awful! And we took another break after 3km more and then another and another!!! Miserable!! But we made it and found the guys again and one had a stick he was going to give to someone else but they didn't want it so I have a walking stick now (yea)! So yea...then we got to the last town before the end and Annie realized she lost her camera...so that was another 30 minute break (after 1 hour break 1.8km earlier) to decide if she should go back and find it. Decided not to go back and we limped into town at about 6:30! Crazy guy at albergue tried to tell us about kitchen and no microwave and I finally said - we don't care we just need beds. Then we got to the room and he wanted one of us to sleep in the top bunk!!! Wtf?!? We were obviously the last ones arriving for the day and there were 2 other empty bunks. So we both just took bottom beds anyways. So then we went to shop and had dinner. Tomorrow we wake up early and won't walk together. Next town is 17.5 km away!!! Ahhhh!! That's a long way with no breaks in a cafe...oh well! Here's some pics - hope I didn't upload these earlier....didn't take many today because I was cranky. But after 17 days of walking its ok to be cranky! Some guy tried to laugh at us for all our breaks but then he said he only started like 2 days ago!! WTF?! I told him he can't laugh because we been walking for 17 days! We can take as many damn breaks as we want.
